Axiom computers started in 2001 in Hervey Bay.
It was a home based business operated by 2 people and catering to the wholesale market and the growing on-line market.
Continual growth in the online market and growth of buying power bought about the need for larger premises. Axiom was then moved to a warehouse in Hervey Bay which allowed for even further growth in business and in staff. We were then operating with a staff of between 6-8 people.
Family requirements bought about the move to Maryborough, and a premises was found in Kent street.
The core customers were still our on-line customers and a still growing wholesale customer base.
Business trends changed and we saw the need to diversify into the retail sector. With the changing trend came the need for more retail space. After 3.5 years Axiom Computers was moved to its current location, still in Kent St.
Along with the retail market we believe it is necessary to service customer computers. Relocation to larger premises has given Axiom the opportunity to expand and continually grow our service and repair department.
We provide training for our technicians to maintain industry standards.
Our growth has also allowed us the opportunity to become service agents for Toshiba, Acer, Leader, (which is also backed by staff training to maintain industry standards).
Technology trends and market requirements continually change and we at Axiom believe that if we keep up with the trends and move with the market, we will be able to service the needs of our customers for many more years to come.
